So far, only IIDX TDJ and SDVX VM support ASIO. They both require a specific sound card, Asus Xonar AE. You can use options in Spice (-iidxasio and -sp2x-sdvxasio) to override this to use your own ASIO sound card. IIDX works reliably with some cards. No known cards for SDVX.

# Spice audio hooks

Spice has an audio hook that can accept **WASAPI exclusive mode** as input, and output as ASIO or waveOut. waveOut is not recommended. To be clear, MUST be set to WASAPI exclusive mode for this to work.
Use:
* `-audiohookdisable` to disable all of this; can be useful if you run into trouble, or to minimize latency.
* `-audiobackend asio` to convert WASAPI exclusive to ASIO.
