- ags_drawString() returns a bounding box of the text so that callers
can update the screen appropriately.
- Use total font height (not only ascent) for vertical positioning.
- Any key input detected in skippable wait functions will cancel the
skip mode (regardless of skipModeInterruptable value).
- Space key (right click) in sys_getInputInfo() will no longer cancel
the skip mode.
- Add 30ms wait in sys_hit_any_key() (used by the 'A' command) so that
users can see what's going on while skipping.
- Cancel the skip mode when opening a menu, not when closing it.
This adds functionality equivalent to the MsgSkip module, for older
games. It is enabled if "MsgSkip" file is specified in the game resource
file.
Since messages in pre-system3.9 games don't have IDs, it uses a Bloom
filter to test whether a message has been already seen or not.
Before this, value of joy_device config parameter (-devjoy in command
line) was ignored. After this, this parameter will take an integer value
and will be used as the device_index argument of SDL_JoystickOpen().
This also removes obsolete doc/README.joystick.
This is safe because we use SDL_HINT_EMSCRIPTEN_ASYNCIFY = 0. This
significantly reduces the number of Asyncified functions and reduces the
wasm code size by 80kb.
The new behavior matches System 3.9.
- Use sel.WinFrameColor to draw selection cursor in EncloseType=0
- Implement EncloseType=1 (thick selection cursor)
- It always uses color 255, not WinFrameColor (System 3.9 bug?)
- EncloseType=2 uses MsgFontColor for background, WinBackgroundColor for
text
This removes X11 specific code, making SDL2 a hard dependency.
X-based environments are continue to be supported via SDL2.
This also removes joystick_linux.c which was only used if SDL2 was not
available.
This replaces v_str* functions with new svar_* functions.
The new svar_* functions use 1-based string variable index, so that
callers don't have to decrement string numbers from SCO.
