Summary

Appolication crash!!

Expected behavior

Application should not Crash!

Current behavior

application exit to windows

Detailed Description

launch the game from gamestart-12.bat and after the game check on "GAME SYSTEM BOOTING..." it exit to windows wihtout notice
and in the event viewer I have this
in the windows Event Viewer application

Application name who generate error: bm2dx.exe,
version: 0.0.0.0,
timestamp: 0x434ca3bb
Name of module who generate error: bm2dx.exe,
versione: 0.0.0.0,
timestamp: 0x434ca3bb
exception code: 0xc0000005

Steps to reproduce

  1. Put bemanitools 09-12th inside the directory ECO\JAD
  2. Copy the video file CLVSD.ax
  3. Copy the old RtEffect.dll
  4. Copy the d3d8.dll

Could you look into trying out iidx 11 or 14? As the log is not indicating any issues we have to check if this is something specific just a single version/generation of the game.

Hello sorry for delay, I have tried beatmania 14 gold work out of the box put bemanitools inside the GLD\2007072301 directory and run gamestart-14.bat.
beatmania 9th style work too.

That's good news. This means that any hardware compatibility issues rather unlikely (though not ruled out entirely). I would rather assume something is off with your iidx 12 setup. Can you start setting it up from scratch using a clean set of data and the latest version of bemanitools? The process should be identical to how you set up 14 and 9.
