DDR X crashes with ddrhook1 on btools newer than 5.44 #270

Taking notes about this from a discord conversation:

  • Hardware: ADE-704a, P3IO
  • OS: Windows XP (DDR image)
  • Cabinet: HD black cabinet
  • btools 5.44 still works as in game boots with all checks on boot green, inject.exe + ddrhook1.dll, + default ddrio.dll
  • Dropping in ddrio-p3io.dll from 5.47 instead crashes the game with an "unknown software exception"
  • btools 5.45 stopped working
