I'm using btools 5.44 and newly reuploaded data,and it keep saying 'Security Error'
Just extract files from the zip and change window mode only, here's my file structure.
Steps to reproduce
1.Download data
2.Download bemanitools 5.44
3.Extract files
4.Run

I'm using btools 5.44 and newly reuploaded data,and it keep saying 'Security Error'

We introcued some IO board related changes in 5.44 that migh be related to that if popn 18 is still using roundplug dongles (IIRC it does).
Can you try the previous bemanitools version 5.43 and if you are still having these issues?

I tried 5.42 and 5.43 and both are working fine from pop'n 15 to 18.

Thanks for giving the older version a try. Probably the best thing to do is keep using the old version for popn until we or someone else gets around to fix the issue you reported that started with 5.43. You are not missing out on any features so far not counting the IO fix which apparently broke something else.

Same symptoms as described above with the following new information: "once i tried an older bemanitools (5.41) it finally worked again, so maybe something broke it in the latest release"
